DOING WELL BY DOING GOOD

Eastspring is passionate about supporting local communities. We are committed to being a responsible corporate citizen by contributing to the economic development of Malaysia and by supporting the development of local communities. Our community investment is based on four key pillars, namely Education, Children and Disaster Preparedness.

EDUCATION

We believe education plays a critical role in providing people with the essential skills and knowledge for personal growth that allows them to contribute to the development of their communities and society at large. One of the key CSR focus areas is financial education, helping children and young adults learn about the importance of money management, providing them with vital life tools to plan for their future.

Eastspring Springboard Challenge

The Eastspring Springboard Challenge is the latest initiative in improving financial literacy in schools. The programme teaches basic principles of money management and investments and tests students understanding by simulating real-world financial decisions through a game board.

The programme aims to reach 10 schools in the Klang Valley and more than 1000 secondary students.

CHILDREN

Empowering younger generations is something we are always working towards. Our core financial education programme is focused on children - with the aim to lay strong foundations for children in order for them to develop to their full potential.

DISASTER PREPAREDNESS AND RELIEF

Asia is more prone to natural disasters than other parts of the world, with people in the region 25 times more likely to be affected by natural catastrophes than those in Europe.

Where we help to make a real difference is in disaster preparedness, relief and post disaster redevelopment, improving the ability of communities to better prepare for, cope with and recover from any unfortunate natural disasters. Our unique regional programmes and NGO partnerships help provide meaningful, sustainable and long-term assistance, not just at the time of a disaster, but before and after.
